Marius Schöttle developed a synthesis route to fabricate colloidal crystals with a gradient composition! This exciting new class of colloidal matter has now been published by Advanced Materials. This contribution will further be highlighted as back cover in one of the upcoming issues. We are pretty excited about this new class of colloidal material and look forward to new exciting properties und functionalities of such systems.
