From September to December, Simon is joining the research group of Sebastian Reparaz at the Institut de Ciència de Materials de Barcelona (Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, Spain). As part of the CRC MultiTrans and the elite study program Macromolecular Science, he is investigating the temperature dependence of heat transport in anisotropic materials. The exchange with the scientific community in Barcelona also offers a valuable opportunity to learn more about state-of-the-art thermal transport metrology. We wish Simon an exciting and successful stay in Barcelona and hope there will be plenty of opportunities to explore Catalonia!
